Carrier Strike Groups

* The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower is currently located in the northern Arabian Sea conducting maritime security operation in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR).

* The USS John C. Stennis is currently located in the South China Sea on a six- to seven-month deployment to the western Pacific Ocean.
* The USS Harry S. Truman is located off the eastern seaboard of the United States conducting Tailored Ship’s Training Availability (TSTA) and Final Evaluation Phase (FEP) exercises.
* The USS George Washington is undergoing the final stage of a Ship’s Restricted Availability and is currently located in Yokosuka, Japan.

Amphibious Ready Groups/Marine Expeditionary Units


* The Boxer ESG/13th MEU is located in the Indian Ocean conducting maritime security operations in the 5th Fleet AOR.

* The USS Wasp is under way in the 2nd Fleet AOR after concluding a scheduled port call to Rota, Spain.

* The USS Essex is currently located in Subic Bay, Philippines, supporting the joint U.S.-Philippine military exercise Balikatan 2009.
