Carrier Strike Groups

* The USS Theodore Roosevelt CSG is currently located in the northern Arabian Sea conducting maritime security operations for the 5th Fleet area of responsibility (AOR), which includes Iraq and Afghanistan.
* The USS John C. Stennis is under way in the East China Sea after departing from Sasebo, Japan on March 3, following the conclusion of a scheduled port visit.
* The USS Nimitz is located in the western Pacific on a scheduled six-month deployment.
* The USS Eisenhower is transiting the Mediterranean Sea to participate in a scheduled rotation of forward-deployed forces conducting international maritime security operations in the 5th Fleet AOR.

Expeditionary Strike Groups

* The USS Iwo Jima ESG is conducting maritime security operations in the Mediterranean Sea.
* USS Boxer ESG is supporting maritime security operations in the 5th Fleet AOR.
* The USS Essex is currently deployed in the East China Sea.
* The USS Bonhomme Richard is currently located off the Pacific Coast conducting routine operations.
